These Terms govern your use of GeoSavanna, operated by Bushveld (Pty) Ltd ("Bushveld", "we"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The service
GeoSavanna is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for GPS tracking and fleet telemetry. We provide ingestion, storage, dashboards, mobile apps, and integration APIs. The capability tiers available to your account are listed in the pricing page and your subscription.
2. Account & access
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the actions taken by users under your tenant. You will notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to track people without their lawful consent or knowledge.
- Interfere with the operation of the platform or other tenants.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data outside of supported APIs.
- Use the platform to violate any applicable law.
4. Fees & billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in South African Rand, per device, for the plan each device is on. Prepaid add-ons such as listen-in minutes are paid in advance and drawn down as they are used. Late payments may result in suspension after 14 days.
5. Term & termination
Plans renew monthly. You can cancel at any time from the admin console; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms.
6. Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly availability for the listener and API surfaces. Planned maintenance is communicated at least 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for downstream device or network availability outside our control.
7. Data
Your data remains yours. We process it as set out in the Privacy Policy. On termination, you can export your data for 90 days, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Warranties & liability
The platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email and in the admin console.
